Ein decarboxyliertes CBD-Öl ist im Grunde ein Roh-Öl, doch wird nach der Extraktion noch ein weiterer Verarbeitungsschritt getätigt. Beim Decarboxylieren werden die CBDa Säure-Moleküle in CBD umgewandelt. Im Prinzip verbessert das Decarboxylieren die Bioverfügbarkeit und damit das effektive CBD pro mg Verhältnis. Durch das schonende Extraktionsverfahren bleibt das volle Pflanzenstoffspektrum (Phytocannabinoide, Flavonoide, Terpene, ätherisches Öl) erhalten. Durch die Pflanzenstoffe hat das Extrakt eine dunkle Farbe.
