This Hollow kalimba features a unique, patented tail sound hole design (US Patent: US D939624 S, EU Patent: 008311799-0001), delivering a clean, direct sound with minimal reflection. HLURU’s innovative resonance chamber design channels sound directly through the keys and out the tail, enhancing clarity. To further refine purity, engineers incorporated a sawtooth echo structure on each side of the resonance box, balancing and purifying the resonance for a rich, pristine tone.

 

Kalimba originates from Africa as a kind of portable musical instrument.
Hluru creates the high-end Kalimba via superior Maple, Acacia, Walnut, Rosewood to chase the melodies around in the deep forest.

The resonant box has a sound hole which creates "wah-wah" effects that can be more manually encouraged by covering or uncovering the sound hole.

So far so good! And we really appreciated the little hair cutting tool for the roller—nice touch. We've replaced one bag, one brush head, and one filter using this bargain kit so far, nothing much to complain about. It's not quite OEM quality but it's very likely going to work well enough. We expect to go through one kit like this per year. Be aware that the rotating brush head replacement (the small round head ones, not the big rollers), have a little philips head screw that you have to remove. This was kind of hard to get off at first. We haven't used one of the replacement rollers yet, expect that we'll go through about two a year with our C10 at the current rate of wear.
