This vintage 1990 Pilot fountain pen rendered in beautiful maki-e depicts a flowing, stylized phoenix rising from a swirling, minimalist motif set against rich, black lacquer. Slim, elegant, and understated, this beautifully rendered fountain pen has managed to survive three decades after its release with almost no indication.
