LHR15ES Random Orbital Polisher Bigfoot (Tool Only)

The Ø15 mm orbit and the RUPES Ø125 mm backing pad make the random orbital polisher particularly suitable for curved surfaces. The 15mm orbit of the LHR 15ES, shorter than that of its big brother, the LHR 21ES, is coupled with a higher rpm level than that of the LHR 21ES. This higher speed gives the LHR 15ES equivalent cutting power to the LHR 21ES, in spite of the smaller orbit. Its Ø130/150 mm BigFoot polishing foam pads, perfect balance, and vibration-free operation make the LHR 15ES a real gem and a must for the tool kit of every detailer.

RANDOM ORBITAL

The backing plate follows an orbit (the amplitude of which depends on the distance between the rotation axis of the drive shaft and the central axis of the backing plate) and is free to rotate about its own central axis. The backing plate is free to rotate at varying velocities and directions by effect of the centrifugal force of the offset movement and by effect of friction. Should the friction forces be such as to prevent rotation of the disc while the tool is still operating, the random orbital movement would simply become an orbital movement. The number of disc rotations is variable and independent of the number of orbits performed. The random orbital movement is at present the best compromise in terms of effectiveness and surface treatment quality.

ELEGANTLY DESIGNED

The RUPES R & D and Design departments have paid particular attention to the design and ergonomics of the BigFoot polishers. The perfectly balanced machine body, the practical handgrip, the silent operation and minimum vibration are just some of the characteristics that help make BigFoot the market’s most versatile and sought-after system.

ANTI-SPINNING SHROUD

The dual function antispinning shroud is designed to protect the operator against the moving parts and act as a clutch for the backing pad, preventing further stress on the foam polishing pad when it is not in direct contact with the surface.

ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL MODULE

The speed controller on the handle is both practical and easy to use. The speed of the polisher can also be regulated during use, thus avoiding any interruption of the polishing operation.

ON-OFF SWITCH LOCK

Pressing the button on the LEFT-hand side of the handgrip while polishing locks the on-off switch. This allows the operator to move his/her hands freely to different gripping positions while the tool is operating.

DESIGN

The attention to detail is not limited to just the innovative and attractive design. The modern lines and exceptional technical quality are combined with a number of details that are the result of meticulous research aimed at achieving maximum operator comfort.

To say my pup loved them was an UNDERSTATEMENT. Within 12 hrs what I bought for 3 dogs has become 1 dogs . He literally has ripped the heads off. I wish a lil more durable but hey he love each one. He is special lil man who can tear anything up.

Holds Up Well So Far – Nice Multi-Texture Toy
We picked up this rope plush for our dog, and overall it’s been a solid addition to the toy bin. The combination of soft plush and rope makes it more interesting than a standard stuffed toy. Our dog likes to chew on the rope sections and carry it around by the neck, and it’s held up better than most plush toys we’ve tried. The stitching seems reinforced in key areas, and even after several play sessions (including some light tug), it hasn’t come apart. That said, the size is something to pay attention to. This seems better suited for small to medium dogs or for supervised play if your dog is rough with toys. Also, while it does have a squeaker, it’s not overly loud, which could be a plus or minus depending on your preference. Overall, it’s a fun, well-designed toy that mixes textures nicely and keeps our dog engaged. Just match it to your dog’s play style and expectations for durability.

Terrible product
These made my dog very sick. The chemical smell alone is too much. Should not be aloud for puppies to chew on .

Easy to destroy, better for dogs who are light on their toys
My dogs absolutely loved these right away, the squeaker grabbed their attention instantly, and they had a blast playing with them. That said, these are made of a pretty thin latex material, and my dogs immediately shredded them. They didn’t last long at all, so I’d definitely consider these more of a short-term or supervised toy rather than something durable. Because of that, I’d only recommend them if you have dogs that aren’t heavy chewers or that you know won’t try to swallow pieces. Otherwise, they can become a bit of a mess quickly. Overall, fun toys that dogs clearly enjoy, but not built for durability.

A Funny Lesson in Toy Durability
I actually have two very different reviews for these toys. First up was the Welsh Terrier, who weighs all of 8 pounds and absolutely destroyed the pink one. The squeaker was done in under five minutes, and the poor little toy lost its ears in less than three. So for some dogs, these may not last long at all. Now for review number two: my 45-pound Shar Pei is having an absolute blast with the blue and orange toys. He shakes them, pulls on them, squeaks them nonstop, and even tosses them around, and so far they are still in perfect shape after a few days of regular play. So in my experience, durability really seems to depend on the dog and probably which toy in the set they latch onto first. They are definitely fun, soft, and engaging squeaky toys, but if your dog is a determined little destroyer, just know they may not hold up for long. For my bigger pup, though, they have been a hit.
