The EvacSHEET has been designed to evacuate bedbound patients on their hospital style foam mattress. The sheets are fitted to the underside of the mattress with all the securing straps and pulling handles stored away in pockets and secured with poppers, so once fitted there is no visual signs of the emergency evacuation system being there. Patient evacuation can be safely completed by 2 persons, however depending on the size of the person to be evacuated and the size of the people available to perform the evacuation, the sheet can accommodate up to 8 operatives utilising the additional pulling loops fitted to the main pulling straps.
- Flame-retardant material with wipe clean finish
- Suitable for hospitals and care homes, where hospital style mattresses are used
- Heavy duty elastic corner straps for attaching securely to underside of mattress
- Easily accessible, secure pockets for storage of all cross straps and pulling straps
- 3 x colour coded cross straps fitted with heavy duty plastic trident buckles
- Extra pulling loops to accommodate up to 8 operatives
- Dimensions (LxW) – 1900 x 850mm
- Tested to over 350kg (Working Load Limit (WLL): 250kg) – Minimum 2 operatives
- Sheets can be laundered at 70°C for infection control

Please note: Due to the lifesaving nature of these devices, it is recommended that a separate evacuation sheet is used for drills and training purposes. This will ensure that the sheet used in an emergency has been exposed to minimal wear and tear.
