位於京都市右京區山深處的水尾，被視為日本柚子栽培發源地。使用水尾的柚子造成的日本料理或和菓子，現今也被人珍而重之。這款柚子酒使用同樣稀少的酒造好適米「祝」，精米至50%以後充滿濃郁的米旨味和吟釀香。
神蔵的發酵期約40日，搾成後，不經任何過濾，在冰點下與柚子汁一起存放。入樽後再加熱，然後又急速冷凍，防止香氣流失。
因此，當你開瓶時，能感受到強烈的柚子香，清新的酸味和輕微的苦澀，以及日本酒為底而特有的輕柔口感。
