Made with 75% Superwashed Merino wool and 25% Nylon, the merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable. The merino is combined with a smaller percentage of nylon giving the knitted fabric extra durability and strength making it harder

This DK has a standard construction of 4/9nm with 225m (246 yds) per 100g. Made with 75% Superwashed Merino wool and 25% Nylon, the merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable. The merino is combined with a smaller percentage of nylon giving the knitted fabric extra durability and strength making it harder wearing. We deliberately use 21 micron merino fibres which are not itchy or scratchy on the skin. The yarn is perfect for socks but can equally can be knitted into scarves, hat or even baby garments which will feel soft next to the skin due to the fine micron merino used.
