Description: The ZM5-HDG6 kit by ACT features their most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, diminish deflection, and optimize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.

ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc incorporates a spring-center to effectively damp torsional vibrations and withstand harsh conditions. Wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings in ACT spring retainers provide enhanced spring support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased strength and reliability. While engagement with the 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is harsher, shifting is faster. This disc is particularly recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
