菩提酛製法，是室町時代(1400年代)時於奈良菩提山正暦寺被研發岀來的方法。於釀酒過程中使用生的米為它的特徵。
使用正暦寺・寺領的米和水，以及「正暦寺乳酸菌」和「正暦寺酵母」造成的酒母，融合了近代釀造法的奈良縣獨有地域特性的濃厚旨口的純米酒。
另外，這個菩提酛的製法在正暦寺，亦是被後人世代相傳的文化精神。
