MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Keep soils moist.   Susceptible to wilt.  Hornworms, beetles, and cutworms can be an issue.  Eggplants are very sensitive to cold so do not transplant until the soil temperatures at night are consistently above 65F.  Cut with a knife to harvest to prevent damage.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Kitchen Garden, Edible Garden, and Containers.
