Pink Fluid is not an Italian EDM duo by the same name, but the new band of Jon Tye and Pete Fowler who form the core of Seahawks. As Test Pressing once called it: "A partnership born of A Psychedelic Guide To Monsterism Island (2009) - the soundtrack to Pete's illustrations, toys and figures - cemented by gigs playing records by Boston, Steely Dan, and Fleetwood Mac at The Big Chill Bar, fueled by a passion for vintage music-making machines, and given a name after a weekend spent in sailors outfits at Bestival. From tracks synthesized around AOR samples, Seahawks now record pretty much as a full band - which includes members of Hot Chip and The Horrors." So, what happened to Pink Fluid? Jon explains: "The first Pink Fluid release Pipe Dreams is coming up on Prins Thomas's Horizontal Mambo imprint, we don't know when but we know it will be beautiful when it does." And here it is! Pipe Dreams is an eight track, 32-minute mini-album of sheer, almost translucent, beauty. Horisontal Mambo is a sub-label of Full Pupp.

low quality; not as advertised
Low quality. The wood has an unpleasant smell, even after initial washing and thorough drying followed by extensive seasoning. Several of the surfaces of the boards were rough. One board was gouged on the bottom (I typically use both sides of the cutting board). Another board had a small amount of wood filler on the bottom. I was forced to sand most of the surfaces in order to smooth them before I seasoned them.
There are gaps in the stand where boards join that are not filled.
The boards are purported to be pre-oiled, but I didn't see any evidence of that.
The "detachable non-slip rubber feet" are not attached and are a little too hard to be "non-slip". If you want to attach the feet then you are on your own - there are no pilot holes and the screws are not self-tapping. The screws have a conical, tapered head and so they do not match well to the feet - a washer-head screw would be the correct type of fit.
Lastly, I don't know my wood types that well, but furniture and cutting board acacia is said to be significantly harder than oak. These cutting boards do not strike me as being as hard as my old oak cutting board.

Lies
Update! They are cracking and falling apart already with barely being used and careful care. Complete waste of money.
Original review: These are horrible, as far as the smell and not being properly sanded. They aren't pre-oiled like they claimed either. Not worth what you pay for them.

Sturdy cutting boards!
These cutting boards work great and are sturdy. They lose color quickly but re oiling them will help that. Good product.
