How to cook
- Basic method: 1 cup rice to about 2 cups water, simmered 18-22 minutes — parboiled rice takes a little longer than regular white basmati.
- Rinse rice until water runs clear, drain, then cook covered on low heat, in batches if your pot doesn't take the full quantity.
- Let the rice rest 5 minutes off heat before serving for fluffy, separated grains.
