The Kennametal boron carbide lined thread adapter converts a 50 mm thread to the 3/4" NPSM thread used on the Kennametal Banana 40° BC nozzle, blast cabinets, and other 3/4" threaded equipment. The adapter has an overall length of 95.3 mm and a 50.8 mm (2") outside diameter.
The internal boron carbide lining protects the adapter bore from abrasive-stream wear, making it suitable for applications with aggressive abrasives where an unlined steel adapter would wear more quickly. It allows operators using 50 mm threaded connections to connect directly to 3/4" NPSM nozzles and accessories without changing the nozzle holder.
