Vinyl LP pressing. Anoyo ("the world over there") draws from the same sessions which led to the 2018 work Konoyo but rendered starker, solemn, and stripped back, with more of a naturalist tint. Tim Hecker's processing here moves in veiled ways, soft refractions and whispered shrouds woven within improvisational sessions of traditional gagaku interplay, evoking a sense of vaulted space, temples at dawn, shredded silk fluttering in the rafters. This is boldly barren music, skeletal and sculptural, shaped from wood, wind, strings, and mist. Modern yet ancient, delicate and desolate, Anoyo inverts it's predecessor to compellingly conjure a parallel world of illusion, solitude, and eternal return.

Good enough
Size: 15x6.8, Color: Black
As cheap as the day is long but functional. These are basically made out of highly compressed paper and finished to feel like wood. The first one I put up was good with a little tilt to the back which is fine. The second one has a more severe tilt and I had to bend the bracket down to decently level it out. They are sturdy enough to hold quite a bit of weight and look good for what they are. I'm not impressed but I'm also not disappointed, the price is a bit steep for what they are but they serve their purpose.

Great, but bring your own inserts.

These work great, easy to install. Happy with them. Only problem was the instructions say don’t use the include inserts on wallboard, which meant I had to go out and purchase my own. That’s OK, because I like to use inserts I trust.
