What’s old is new. Vintage style helmets are making a comeback these days. The LS2 Rebellion HH590 Solid Helmet is the perfect balance between vintage and modern helmets. The engineers at LS2 have successfully created a half helmet that has all the charm of the old school helmets, but loaded with the latest helmet technology. The minimalist design and low profile look really complete the aesthetic of the motorcycle half helmets.
The shell of the Rebellion HH590 is crafted out of LS2’s patented kinetic polymer alloy (KPA), a combination of polycarbonate and thermoplastic materials. This gives the half helmets a surprising amount of protective capability, while providing puncture resistance and shock absorption. This retro helmet is ultra-lightweight, allowing it to be worn for long rides. The helmet has built in air vents to keep the top of the head cool on those brutally hot days. The air flows into the motorcycle half helmet and forces the hot air out through the channeling vents. The inner lining is moisture wicking, meaning it helps prevent excess perspiration build up. It draws moisture away from the skin where it can evaporate more easily. This has a cooling effect on the rider. The inner lining is also removable and washable which will help keep the helmet fresh for every ride. The motorcycle half helmet is equipped with a shortened peak that helps to shade the eyes from the sun. The LS2 Rebellion HH590 Solid Helmet is also equipped with a sunvisor that works well for blocking out sun on the horizon.
