The MB1-XXR6 kit features a MaXX pressure plate designed for serious enthusiasts. ACT MaXX pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. These diaphragms undergo a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency. The 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high-quality ceramic friction materials, with a chrome-moly hub heat-treated for strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and trouble-free service. Engagement with the 6-pad rigid race disc is harsher, but shifting is faster, making it ideal for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
