As a full-grain leather product, the Leuven may exhibit natural markings such as veins, scars, or other small imperfections, which are inherent to the material and only add to the bag’s character. If you notice any scratches, they can be easily removed by gently rubbing the area with a cloth soaked in vegetable oil. Additionally, the leather’s color may slightly vary between batches, making each bag unique.
Please note, oil-treated leather can transfer color onto lighter fabrics, so be cautious when carrying the bag with light-colored clothing. If your bag gets wet, allow it to dry naturally, and avoid direct contact with light fabrics. Should any stains occur, don’t worry—they can usually be washed out, and the leather will continue to develop a beautiful patina over time.
