Maja Andersen's Riso prints are inspired be mid century Scandinavian graphic style and past vacation travel outside of her midwestern home. The print's subject matter is an illustrated page from an imagined story book which lives in her head. Her Risograph prints are printed in 2 to 3 colors with at least one fluorescent color which really pops! A characteristic of riso prints is a slight mis-registration of color in some of the outer areas which adds charm to the print. Maja lives with her husband, Tom, and two cats in Kansas City, Missouri. Maja and Tom have a collaborative Etsy shop, Four Eyes Illustration. Maja's hobbies include flamenco dance lessons and travel.
