Extremely rare silver plated flower basket from the Vienna Secession movement designed by Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956), circa 1906. Produced in Austria by the Wiener Werkstatte (Vienna Workshop) from 1906-1916 as part of the "Glitterwerk" collection. Perforated square lattice with looped reticulated handle. Branded on underside with Wiener Werstatte shop mark, "A" Vienna silver marking, a Wiener Werkstatte 'rose' mark, and Josef Hoffman's "JH" designer marking.
