The Story Behind E4

When Artius Man was first formed, we set out to create the ultimate scent that could serve as the base for our hair, face, and body products. Over the course of months, we created and tested 107 different scent blends.

The breakthrough came with blend number 108.

That scent became E4, named after its original alphanumeric identifier. It was the clear winner and has remained a cornerstone of the Artius Man lineup ever since.

What Makes Our Beard Butter Different

Artius Man Beard Butter is made in small, controlled batches using a specially selected shea butter that prevents fatty acid crystallization. This keeps the butter smooth and consistent throughout the life of the product.

We do not whip our beard butter. Whipping adds air and reduces usable product. Our 4-ounce pour is a true 4 ounces, delivering more value and longer use.

A double-wall container is used to reduce the risk of melting. If melting occurs, simply place the container in the refrigerator to re-solidify.

How to Use
