Hi Horse Records is proud to present the first in a projected series of unreleased tracks from the same sources: Blue 88s is an amazing collection of piano blues recorded between 1938-1942 for the Columbia and Okeh labels. 15 of the 17 tracks are previously unreleased gems that showcase some of the premier blues pianists and vocalists of the era: Curtis Jones, Roosevelt Sykes, Willie "Boodle It" Right and Poor Boy Burke. Includes a 20 page booklet with a detailed essay by Mark Humphrey on the history and popularity of the piano, and blues pianists in particular, plus the lyrics to all the songs. The legendary Roosevelt Sykes a.k.a. "The Honeydripper" is represented on this compilation with 12 tracks, 10 of them previously unissued while Curtis Jones and Poor Boy Burke have 2 each while Willie "Boodle It" Right has 1. If I could give a Ten Star review, I would. Hands down the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned.
I wore them 16 days straight while touring Italy. Comfortable and goes with all of your outfits. They pack well in a suitcase too. Light weight.

Wonderful
Super comfy and easy on and off, yet stylish imo! I could walk miles in these as a 56 yo and have worn them for three years! I hope they never stop making them. The only tweek I would suggest is to cover the footbed with leather or suede not cloth so they would last longer!

Lovely sandals!
I highly recommend!
These are so comfortable! Right out of the box, they can be worn all day. The velcro-adjustable straps are great for making for a perfect fit. The aren't clunky to wear, even though they appear to be. They're super cute, in my opinion. The sock liner is textile, so feet feel good all day, not slimy, like leather and suede can sometimes make feet feel if socks aren't worn.
