Made by SU, this is a revolutionary new float for SU carburetters. It has a military spec closed-cell construction making it leak proof and it is resistant to modern ethanol based fuels. The float material was used by SU for military installations in the 1980's, where a guaranteed fail safe operation was critical. The secret behind the material has now been released and upgraded for this float, making it virtually unsinkable. The float measures 2 1/2 inches (approximately 63mm) in diameter. Suitable for H8 (2") carburetters fitted with a T4 float bowl. Similar floats are available for the smaller carburetters.
