The L. R. Baggs LR-VIONT is a Violin Pickup Non-Terminated.
Our Violin Pickup is a miniature vibration sensor cast directly into a Superieur Despiau "Two Tree" maple bridge for maximum sensitivity and signal transfer. As an integral part of the bridge, it effortlessly captures the instrument's inherent dynamics. Furthermore, its selective admittance pattern is aligned so that the signal is generated as the bridge moves in a left-right motion (in response to the string vibrations). The pickup also rejects any impulse directed to the plane of the bridge- minimizing annoying finger squeaks, body noise and feedback. Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Really sturdy and a great value for the money. Almost idiot proof when putting it together, too. The drawing is very specific, and everything is really well marked and numbered. This isn’t fine furniture, but it really is a great value for the money!
