       獅子不會游泳，不過他一點也不在乎。
　　偶爾去河裡踩踩水，洗洗脖子和鬃毛，那還可以，

　　直到有一天，母獅子坐在山丘上看書，
　　沒想到河水越漲越高、越漲越高，
　　原來是山上的雪融化了，讓小河變成大河、山丘變成小島，
　　不一會兒，母獅子就被困在河流中央。

馬丁‧巴茲塞特Martin Baltscheit

　　1965年出生於德國杜塞道夫，大學主修視覺傳達。巴茲塞特是一位跨領域的創作者，作品除了漫畫、繪本，還有兒童廣播劇和動畫。於1996年獲得Max & Moritz獎最佳漫畫家提名。

馬克‧布塔方 Marc Boutavant

　　1970年生於法國勃根地，布塔方是法國當代最受歡迎的美術設計，小時候和爸爸在花園翻土時，發現蚯蚓可以是好朋友、蒲公英可作沙拉吃。這樣愛探究世界的他，大學主修生物，之後在倫敦研習了兩年的藝術傳播教育。2000年他創作了莫克Mouk這個角色，2007年出版了《跟莫克一起環遊世界》，讓全世界都認識了這位喜歡生物，色彩繽紛的法國插畫家。在他的眼裡世界很大，他希望能透過書本帶領孩子去發現更多事物、多一點好奇、嘗試和體驗！作品有《不會寫字的獅子》《我選我自己》《河馬波波屁股大》《絕對不要搔老虎的癢》

Cute, but buyer beware. Maybe the description said this, but who would think to read for this.... You have to insert an empty bottle (like an old water bottle) for it to make the crinkle noise. There is a velcro spot at the base where you can open it and insert the water bottle for the noise factor and your dogs entertainment. I've yet to do that, but feel like my dog is gonna figure out the velcro and get the bottle out in no time. Seems like a waste of money. I could just give her an empty water bottle without the toy for free.
