This material is a brass alloy which prevents corrosion, caused by the loss of zinc in the fitting, making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This hose tail connects a 1" BSPT threaded pipe to a 32mm hose connection and includes a hexagonal shoulder. Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion.
