A one-of-a-kind jewel rich with symbolism and history, this striking ring showcases a finely detailed 10k gold owl perched on a sleek onyx backdrop, accented by a diamond "star"—an enduring emblem of wisdom and insight. The design is set in 14k yellow gold and expertly unites elements from two distinct periods of fine craftsmanship.
The owl and diamond motif was originally part of a Victorian stickpin, circa 1900, and has been masterfully reimagined within the setting of an Art Deco ring, circa 1920. The thoughtful conversion preserves the character of both eras, resulting in a piece that feels both storied and contemporary.
The ring’s face measures approximately 0.9 inches tall by 0.5 inches wide. It is currently a size 4.25, but resizing is available for an additional charge.
The gold was verified using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing, confirming its solid 14k composition. The onyx and diamond have been evaluated in-house, and the piece remains in excellent antique condition.

Malcolm speaks from the heart

It is statements like this that make me love reading about Malcolm X. His intelligence, charisma and courage emanate from his words. He inspires, challenges and provokes his listeners to change their thinking. Not only does he challenge others, but he challenges himself to constantly analyze, to constantly evolve.
Malcolm X Speaks is an excellent read, from cover to cover. If you want a good idea of where Malcolm was heading before his untimely death, this is the book.

Truthfully, I can't find anything I dislike; the book arrived sooner than I anticipated. I have started reading the book (Malcolm X Speaks: Selected but have yet to finish. I am thinking about other books I will purchase in the future.

Malcom had the capacity to express his ideas in such an eloquent and smart way. This book is proof of that.
I'm studying this great human being and now I consider this an essential book for anyone, any race, any place or gender that are looking to open their minds. Definitely a must read for any person.

Since I began practicing Passage Meditation (meditating on a prayer or sacred poem as my focus of concentration) I enjoy reading this book at bedtime for inspiration. I find that when certain prayers or poems resonate with me, stanzas from them will come to me during the day. Some of them I memorize quicker than others. I appreciate this book for having so many from so many traditions compiled and translated so beautifully. At the back of the book you can look them up by category, such as prayers for courage, or fear, etc. I am surprised at how many I have memorized, and how much they affect my thoughts throughout the day.
