The CBC was the first nationally-owned broadcasting company created to support and promote Canadian-made media content to a diverse and ever-changing nation, and this remains to be their mandate to the present day.
This CBC Transmitter Tower design was pieced together (painfully) from a handful of old photographs that local Sackville folks had of the historic CBC transmitter towers that used to stand in the marshlands bordering the small maritime town.
We tried to be pretty meticulous about getting the lines and detail the best we could in this illustration from some distant and fuzzy photographs, and we're thankful for all those that stepped up and shared old pictures they had so we could create this homage to old landscapes of the past.
