To find the placement that is right for you, start by placing a piece of folded tape on the back of the HotSpot and sticking it onto your OE mirror where you think you might want it. Then sit in your car and look through the HotSpot. Keep adjusting the placement until it suits your needs. Good value for the price. This 50 ft extension cord feels durable and works well both indoors and outdoors. The 16/3 gauge handles my power tools and outdoor equipment without overheating, and the flexibility makes it easy to roll up and store. I also like that it’s ETL listed for added safety.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cord is a bit stiffer in colder weather than I expected. Other than that, it’s reliable, long enough for most jobs, and a solid buy for everyday use.
