The set features an on/off switch with a handy timer function. The timer will keep the lights illuminated for 6 hours and then turn them off for 18 hours, before switching back on at the same time as the previous day. This means you don’t have to worry about remembering to switch the lights off! Of course, if you’d like the lights to stay on for longer than six hours, simply set the switch to the On position.

The cable, along which the lanterns are hung, and the 50cm lead cable, are both transparent, ensuring that the focus is solely on the charming lantern decorations and not on any unsightly wires.

Because these lights are battery operated, you're free to place them wherever you wish, without worrying about having to place them near an electrical outlet.
