Shading tips:
- No mordant warm golden yellows (already tannin-rich)
- Alum brighter, clearer yellows
- Tannin + alum deeper golden ochres
- Iron (post-mordant, ~1%) moss greens → black
- Copper (5%) antique greenish-yellows
- Overdye with indigo sage to forest greens
- Low temperatures keep the shade yellow
- Longer dye bath time shifts yellows toward browns
