Robbie Burns, affectionately known as "Rabbie Burns", is Scotland's most celebrated poet and a timeless voice of its spirit.

Born in 1759, he rose to capture the very essence of Scotland through verse, song, and storytelling. Among his best works are 'Auld Lang Syne', sung worldwide each New Year, and 'My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose', a lyrical expression of devotion that continues to resonate across centuries.

He made a striking impression. Not just with his poems but with his good looks, his charm and most of all, as a lover. A man of multiple amorous affairs, Burns fathered a total of 12 children with 4 different women.

Burns distilled the heart of Scottish culture - its pride, warmth, and resilience - into lines that endure far beyond his lifetime. His legacy is universal, as readers and singers everywhere find in his words a reminder of shared humanity and timeless connection. 

Known as 'Burns Night' or 'Burns Supper', Burns' legacy is celebrated across the world every Jan 25th, with whisky, poetry, song, Scottish cuisine and traditional dances.

This inaugural bottling features a Speyside classic, Tomintoul ("tom-in-towel"). Distilled in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park in May 2014 and matured exclusively in a single sherry puncheon for over 11 years.

Tomintoul distillery has been producing award-winning single malts since 1964 and is known for its smooth, mellow spirit, earning it the nickname, "the gentle dram".
