When massive flow and cooling is needed, the TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler for the Subaru WRX and STI delivers. Dwarfing the tiny factory intercooler core volume by more than 3.3 times, the TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler bar and plate core is larger AND less restrictive at high flow rates resulting in better cooling performance.
A cooler intake charge means more power and less chance of detonation or pre-ignition when running higher than factory boost levels. Considering a turbo upgrade The TurboXS intercooler will be able to handle the largest of turbo upgrades giving you literally dozens of upgrade options for your STI. The TurboXS FMIC kit includes everything to seamlessly bolt up the massive 26inx 9.5inx 3.5in bar & plate style core and includes mirror polished piping and silicone couplers for leak-free plumbing. While this is an all-inclusive kit, a TurboXS or similar cold air intake is required for installation, as the stock airbox will not fit. If you have an 08-10 STI a stock bypass valve flange is integrated into the piping so there is not need to purchase an aftermarket valve, unlike similar kits from the competition.

PLEASE NOTE: This kit will NOT work with your stock airbox. A TurboXS cold air or similar intake is required. STI owners will need to purchase the STI bypass valve adapter kit (available below) to install this kit.
