About Altea

This Altea Steel blue Silk Tie is more than just an accessory. It's a legacy of Italian craftsmanship. Altea was founded in 1892 by a man named Giuseppe Sartori, and began as a humble store exclusively selling ties, directly out of Giuseppe's workshop. Since then, the brand has branched out into various pieces of clothing, but their ties remain at the top as their number one item.

The unique Steel-blue colour on this Tie makes it a clear highlight of almost any outfit. The colour, combined with the luxurious silk you only get from Altea, ensures a perfect, put-together look.

  • Over a century of expertise: for 130 years, Altea has been honing their craftsmanship, ensuring each tie is hand-stitched to perfection
  • Made in Milan: Experience what ''Made in Italy'' truly means. Made with carefully sourced Silk, this tie is a true testament to quality.
  • Handcrafted from Silk: Feel the rich drape of 100% Silk, selected by experts for its quality and vibrant colors
  • Family legacy: Each and every tie is a piece of history, crafted using techniques passed through generations by the Sartori family
  • Durability: The careful construction and expensive materials will ensure your tie remains a prized piece of your wardrobe throughout the years

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

GOOD BUY!!!
Format: Paperback
I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
