Parasol Ant MoatsThese metal ant moats are made my craft artisans in Mexico and are a great way to keep ants and other crawling insects from invading your hummingbird or wild bird feeders. These umbrellas can be used upside down or right side up, both are effective. When used upside down water will fill the umbrella and create a moat. We've also found that birds love to drink out of the water filled ant moats. For this reason, we often leave them out year round
