This is the solution we've all been waiting for. Our HELLFIRE wheel combines the tried and true strength of our billet Spitfire wheel with a new hybrid UHMW plastic outer ring for reduced weight, added serviceability, and most importantly the elimination of ice build-up issues.
The HELLFIRE UHMW ring design is especially advantageous on the monorail design skid, as it prevents track damage that can result from hard full aluminum ice-coated wheels being pressed into the track at high RPM's, which can cause a "pizza cutter" effect and slice through the track in certain situations.
With thousands of miles of testing in variety of conditions and terrain behind us, we can confidently affirm that HELLFIRE is the ideal combination of strength, bearing support, light weight, style, and user serviceability to make it the longest-lasting and most versatile option on the market.
