The “Pyrexia" Story: Even the minerals that lay beneath the earth were thrown into a tailspin by the meteor. Copper melded with gold, as did terbium and cerium, rising like a Phoenix in the form of fantastic creatures, large and small, whose metallic armor was truly dazzling. But none more so than Pyrexia...she of the gods, the gods of rare earth. Behold her dazzling array of copper, gold, metallic indigo and swirling scarlet.
