This jig has been created to fit our 80mm heart blanks.  Our heart blanks include a small hole, ideal to tie ribbon or string for hanging and are perfect for making into gifts for many occasions.

Blanks are designed and manufactured by us in the UK, meaning you are able to trust the consistency and quality of supply. The blanks are available in a choice of 3mm frosted white acrylic or 3mm mdf.

Jig Type: Our Pro jigs are pre-loadable for high volume production.

    Jig Compatibility: Our Pro jigs are compatible with Roland VersaSTUDIO BD-8 flatbed printer machines.  For more information view our Jig Compatibility Guide. 

    You will also need:

    1 x “Bed Base & Ruler Guide”: Ensure this has been fitted to your flatbed printer prior to using our jigs.

    WHAT IS ACRYLIC?
    Like-for-like acrylic (also known as perspex) is very similar to the qualities found in glass however it is less than half the weight of glass. Although acrylic will not splinter like glass these items are delicate and should be handled with care.

    WHAT IS 3MM MDF:
    Lightweight Medium Density Fibreboard which when laser cut gives beautiful dark vintage bronze edges. Our MDF blanks are laser cut so may have smoke marks.

I admittedly probably didn’t work on it as long or as hard as I should have, but I still had great results. *** One warning: when it says to “tape up and cover your paint around it” do it! I figured I would just be careful but no I was wrong. It will REALLY damage your paint, so make sure you don’t get any on it. YES- This is the sanding discs too! They have chemicals on them, they are not regular discs. If you do get on paint, clean immediately! My only regret with this project and my fault, not theirs. My headlights went from dingy yellow, to much brighter and definitely more clear. Love the results. Very happy with the purchase.

      I'm Not Disappointed ...

      I knew going in that my expectations shouldn't be very high because my car is a first generation 2010 Kia Soul. So its old with 16 plus years of yellowing oxidation and some abrasion. I took a chance with doing this because of the reviews and pictures. To my surprise, it worked better than I anticipated and could hope for. My driver side(left) headlight was horrible but my passenger side(right) wasn't too shabby and didn't require as much care. This would have turned out better if I had power drill attachments of the same sanding grit to do this. My arm is going to be really sore come Sunday. 😆 It wasn't too hard to follow the instructions as they were very simple for the application process. I don't know about the 2 years for it lasting, but for now, its durable. Once I drive at night, I'll be able to But all in all, it worked for me and its better than before I tackled it. All in all it looks good, I feel like I'll have a better beam when night 🌙 driving.
