The Metallic Gold Classic Koi is a stunning ornamental koi prized for its rich, golden coloration and smooth metallic sheen. Its bold, radiant appearance and traditional koi body shape make it an elegant and eye-catching addition to any pond environment.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, metallic koi varieties are selectively bred for their intense shine and uniform coloration. The classic fin structure enhances the koi’s strong, streamlined silhouette and graceful swimming style.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, making it suitable for mixed koi ponds.
