Deze wijn is gemaakt van nebbiolo druiven, aangeplant in 1982, op een hoogte van 300 tot 320 meter. Na een zachte persing van de druiven en een maceratie van 10 12 dagen, rijpt de wijn 12 18 maanden in eiken vaten. Na de botteling krijgt de wijn nog tijd om zich verder te ontwikkelen in de fles, wat zorgt voor een extra laag

De Barbaresco 'Montersino' is een elegante en verfijnde wijn afkomstig uit de beroemde Montersino cru in de Barbaresco-regio. Deze wijn is gemaakt van nebbiolo-druiven, aangeplant in 1982, op een hoogte van 300 tot 320 meter.

Na een zachte persing van de druiven en een maceratie van 10-12 dagen, rijpt de wijn 12-18 maanden in eiken vaten. Na de botteling krijgt de wijn nog tijd om zich verder te ontwikkelen in de fles, wat zorgt voor een extra laag complexiteit.

De kleur van deze Barbaresco is een levendig kersenrood, en het bouquet is delicaat en elegant. De aroma's van framboos en viooltjes mengen zich met rijkere, kruidige tonen, die de verfijning van de wijn benadrukken. In de mond is de Barbaresco sappig en goed gestructureerd, met een zachte textuur en harmonieuze smaak. Dit is een wijn van grote prestige, die zich zowel nu als in de komende jaren prachtig zal ontwikkelen.

I love the Talalay latex for the quality, and that there is no smell. However, it is too high for my neck. I wish the company would make it in a 3" version, instead of just 5.5". They do have a "slim" version, but it is not even the same kind of pillow. It measures 2.5" and the back side is completely flat, so you can not turn it in over for use. The company basically took this 5.5" version and cut it in half for the slim.
