nóg een nieuw nummer, en het slotakkoord is hun versie van het beklijvende
Duizend Soldaten van Willem Vermandere. Het resultaat is Randgevallen, vijf tracks
die luisteren als een staalkaart van de muzikale en tekstuele veelzijdigheid van Het
Zesde Metaal, en nogmaals de tijdloze klasse van de band onderstrepen.

If you attended one of the intimate concerts by Het Zesde Metaal during their theatre
tour in the spring of 2025, you probably also realised afterwards that the fabulous
new songs they played were nowhere to be enjoyed again. Until now, because in
summer the band took to the studio with the new songs, and for the first time also
with new members Kasper Cornelus (guitar/keys) and Sander Verstraete (bass). In
addition to the three songs, they wrote and recorded the brand-new Label and
included their version of the haunting Duizend Soldaten (A thousand soldiers) by
famous Flemish troubadour Willem Vermandere as closing track. The result is
Randgevallen, five tracks that showcase the musical and lyrical diversity of Het
Zesde Metaal, and once more underline the band’s timeless class. Available on vinyl
and cd.
