De nog jonge wijnmakerij Lomond brengt deze Rockpool serie wijnen op de markt. Een innovatieve reeks waarbij geen enkele fles hetzelfde is. De focus ligt op experimenteren en nieuwe wijnbereidingstechnieken. Dankzij deze werkwijze ontstaat er keer op keer een nieuwe creatie. Lomond ligt in het kleine stadje Gansbaai in de West-Kaap van Zuid-Afrika. Het wijnhuis heeft vele onderscheidingen mogen ontvangen voor hun innovatieve werkwijze. De wijnen staan bekend om hun complexiteit en karakter en is altijd een weerspiegeling van het prachtige terroir. Het klimaat is koel waardoor de druiven gelijkmatig kunnen rijpen. De Pinotage druiven zijn afkomstig van een prachtige wijngaard in Stellenbosch. Op deze plek weet wijnmaker Hannes Mayers de afgelopen jaren de mooiste druiven te oogsten. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en in de nacht gekoeld zodat de druiven hun frisheid kunnen behouden. Na de oogst worden de druiven vrijwel direct naar de wijnmakerij gebracht waar een strenge selectie volgt. Hierdoor blijven alleen de beste druiven over voor de zachte persing. Er volgt vervolgens een traditionele vinificatie.Een geconcentreerde Pinotage van Rockpool
Het resulteert in een levendige rode wijn die rabarberrood in het glas kleurt. De levendige aroma’s van zoete kers en aardbeienjam komt je tegemoet. De smaak ik eveneens levendig, met veel fruit als kersen en pruimen. Dit wordt aangevuld met lichte tonen van kaneel, waardoor het mooi in balans wordt gebracht. Een geconcentreerde wijn met veel structuur en een sappige afwerking.Shipping Notes

My Cart Worked Out Perfectly For Me - Update: I got a second cart

Delivered sooner than promised. All pieces were present. All parts were in good condition. Assembly was done by a professional who thought the product was well done and needed very few adjustments. The cart rolls smoothly, is very sturdy, is a great size, looks attractive and is perfect for my needs. I would order one of these again.
Update: I did get a second cart and I am just as happy with this second one as I have been with the first one.

Looks expensive. Wheels could be better.

This got RAVE reviews when I wheeled it into a neighbor’s Thanksgiving celebration. The guests thought it was WAY more expensive than I paid. That said, the wheels aren’t all that great; the cart got stuck going into and out of the elevator. I had to lift the cart to get it over the track. But overall, I really like it. One caution. Read the instructions carefully so that the wine racks fit. I didn’t assemble it correctly, and it became apparent when the wine racks would not fit. But I was able to quickly disassemble the necessary sections, and reassemble them quickly.

Price vs quality
Model: Model B with Removable Tray
Aside from the fact that it's beautiful ,price wise is very competitive.
We didn't want to occupy too much space in the living room so a bar cart seemed the best option.
And this one caught our eye. Easy to assemble, very sturdy and did I say beautiful ??
