De Excellent Trees® LED Ulvik kunstkerstboom 150 cm met verlichting heeft een mooie uitstraling door zijn vorm. De combinatie van zowel harde als zachte dennennaalden zorgen voor een natuurlijk effect. De boom is 150 cm hoog en heeft een diameter van 80 cm. De kunstkerstboom wordt met het eenvoudige paraplu systeem binnen enkele minuten opgezet en geeft direct kerstsfeer in huis. De boom is door de vele takken mooi vol maar heeft nog voldoende ruimte over voor versiering zodat de kerstboom compleet gedecoreerd kan worden.

De zijtakken zijn afgewerkt met een rond uiteinde en een bruine nerf zodat het een natuurlijke uitstraling heeft. De boom ziet er door al deze extra aandachtspunten exclusief uit. De boom heeft een luxe metalen voet die door middel van 1 schroef vast te zetten is. Hij is tevens voorzien van antislip rubberen noppen zodat de boom stevig en goed in balans staat.

De kunstkerstboom heeft een paraplu constructie waardoor hij gemakkelijk in gebruik is. De 2 verschillende onderdelen moeten enkel op elkaar gezet worden en de takken dienen nog wat uitgevouwen te worden zodat de kunstkerstboom de perfecte look krijgt.

De kerstboom is voorzien van verlichting die al verwerkt is in de takken. De LED verlichting geeft een mooi warm licht. Het zijn 250 lampjes het aansluitsnoer is 5 meter lang en groen van kleur.

Advies
Kunstkerstbomen bestaan meestal uit 2 of 3 delen, dit is afhankelijk van de hoogte van de kerstboom. Om de kerstboom een zo natuurlijk mogelijke look te geven begint u met de takken van het onderste deel uit te vouwen. Begin altijd vanuit de stam naar buiten te werken, vouw hierbij takje voor takje uit. Probeer de onderkant van de takken zo plat mogelijk te laten. Een echte boom heeft namelijk ook platte takken. De onderste takken kunt u naar beneden buigen zodat de standaard minder zichtbaar blijft. Vouw op deze manier alle takken van onder naar boven in het juiste model zodat er geen open ruimtes meer zichtbaar zijn. Hoe meer takken de kerstboom heeft des te voller deze wordt.

Levering
De kerstboom wordt geleverd in een stevige doos met handvat zodat hij na de feestdagen gemakkelijk op te bergen is.

This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Imperfect characters

4.5 stars ⭐ I don't really understand the harsh criticism in some of these reviews (Goodreads). I rarely write reviews myself, but I think this book deserves it. Look, it absolutely has its issues. I wasn't feeling it in the beginning -- the first few chapters were all tell and no show, literally just telling us all this background in a few paragraphs rather than feeding us bits and pieces at a time. The writing significantly improves after a few chapters, though. And I didn't catch any spelling or grammatical typos often found in new, self published books.  After the rough start, I absolutely flew through the rest of the book and couldn't put it down. Seriously stayed up until 2am with it. So I also don't agree with comments calling it boring. Definitely did not bore me. I thought it ticked all the right boxes: romance, fantasy, a magic system, tragedy, fate, character growth.  A lot of the poor reviews I'm seeing are in regards to the FMC's character. Personally, I like flawed characters and think it's more realistic than reading the POV of someone who always makes the right decisions, is always honest, is always selfless, etc. Humans aren't like that. Readers love when male leads are morally grey, but God forbid a woman isn't perfect.  So I like flawed characters and I like a little bit of tragedy, which the author provides. Ends on a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to read the sequel next month. I really want to learn more about Malachi.  All in all, not a bad start from this author. Give it a chance. SOMEWHAT SPOILERY: I LOVE the concept of fated mates that kind of hate each other. Most books with the fated mates trope allow the characters to immediately fall for each other and get together relatively easily. But this is way more interesting ;)
