Verrijkt met geavanceerde additieven, vermindert dit smeermiddel drastisch de wrijving, waardoor je efficiënter kunt fietsen bij elke pedaalslag. In tegenstelling tot traditionele oliën wordt HALO™ Wax niet zwart en trekt het geen verontreinigingen aan, waardoor je aandrijflijn stil en brandschoon blijft, zelfs na meerdere ritten.

Is het nodig om de ketting te ontvetten voor het eerste gebruik? Ja, dat moet. Om de wax aan het metaal te laten hechten, moet de ketting volledig vrij zijn van fabrieksolie of -vet. Gebruik een sterke ontvetter voor het allereerste gebruik.

Kan het worden gebruikt bij nat weer? HALO™ Wax is goed bestand tegen vocht, maar zoals alle wassen zal het in de regen sneller vervagen dan een "natte" olie. Het is raadzaam om het product goed te laten drogen en opnieuw aan te brengen na een zeer nat uitstapje.

Hoe vaak moet ik het product opnieuw aanbrengen? In droge omstandigheden kan een laagje tussen de 200 en 300 km meegaan. Zodra de ketting iets luidruchtiger wordt, is het tijd om opnieuw te smeren.

Is het compatibel met de 'Hot Wax' (dompel) versie? Absoluut. HALO™ Wax liquid is de ideale aanvulling om de behandeling van een aanvankelijk met hete was behandelde ketting te onderhouden en te verlengen.

Best out of all other heat tapes!

It is extremely weird how excited I became when trying this tape out for the first time. I can't speak for all of the blue heat tapes but this one in particular is all sorts of great to use. Thicker, easier to tear, stronger adhesive than the brown and clear heat tapes I've tried. I started with the clear because I was afraid of the other colored tapes leaving marks on my substrates. The clear tape was a good amount of thickness and easy to tear and use but the adhesion was terrible. I would wrap it around the rim of tumblers, fold it down into the inside of the tumbler and it would pop right back up. Forget using it on any fabrics, did not hold sublimation sheets down to totes, shirts, mousepads, at all. The brown tape I used had better adhesion but was thin and stretchy? floppy? Didn't know this was even an annoying thing until I moved on to this blue tape and was just blown away. Still blows me away how it was cheaper than the other two kind but is the thickest and best gripping of them all. So far it does not leave any marks on any of my items. I'm so impressed by this tape that I still NOTICE it everytime it's tearing off perfectly or holding my things together so well.
