This compact device supports both 3G Level A and B on input and output, allowing seamless conversion between these standards. It features 4 (3G/HD/SD)-SDI outputs, which can be used as a 1 to 4 distribution amplifier. The built-in scaler allows for horizontal and vertical image flipping, making it ideal for a wide range of professional video applications. The MD-Cross V2 includes a professional 3G/HD/SD test pattern generator with 26 selectable output formats and 54 test patterns, including Luma and Chroma zone-plates. It also offers full 16-channel audio metering overlays, adjustable safe title and safe action overlays, and static center cross text overlays. The device is controlled via an intuitive LCD and button system, eliminating the need for dip switches or a computer for configuration. Additionally, it includes a USB port for control and firmware updates, and a new metal thread locking DC power socket for enhanced durability. The MD-Cross V2 is a truly portable converter, perfect for any professional video production environment.
