De SilentPower iDefender+ zorgt voor een optimale USB-connectie tussen een streamer, DAC, computer en laptop. De iDefender+ ontkoppelt heel slim de verschillende massa’s bij USB-apparaten en voorkomt hiermee zogenaamde aardlussen.

Gevoede USB-apparaten

Gebruik je meerdere gevoede USB-apparaten met je computer, laptop of in je audioketen, dan kan het zijn dat de massa van de verschillende USB-apparaten net niet helemaal 0 volt hebben. Deze minimale verschillen kunnen aardlussen veroorzaken. Anders dan een continue lichte brom in analoge circuits zorgt een aardlus bij digitale verbindingen zoals USB vooral een toename van ruis en een afname van zowel de resolutie als van de dynamiek in de muziekweergave. Door het simpel opnemen van een SilentPower iDefender+ in de USB-keten los je deze problematiek in de kortst mogelijke tijd op.

USB-gevoede apparaten

Gebruik je een USB-DAC in combinatie met je laptop of pc die door de USB-poort wordt gevoed, dan zul je geen hinder ondervinden van aardlussen. Wel kun je te maken hebben met vervuilde voedingslijnen vanuit de pc. Ook in deze situatie biedt deze slimme iDefender+ voordelen. Via de tweede USB-C poort in de iDefender+ kun je jouw USB-DAC aansluiten op een (hoogwaardige) externe voedingsbron met schone, niet vervuilde stroom. Beautiful and Spirit-filled book of prayers!

I am not a parent, but I have loved following Kayla Craig’s Instagram account, @liturgiesforparents. She is a gifted writer and manages to convey complex emotions into simple prayers. There are prayers for life events, everyday occurrences, and, my favorite part, breath prayers. I especially liked the Scriptural basis for the breath prayers. As a pastor, I would not hesitate to hand this book to a family in my congregation. In fact, I may impress many copies upon families. I also read these prayers through the lens as someone who doesn’t have my own children. Most of the prayers are written for parents and from that perspective, but many could be edited to be used as prayers for children who are not your own. My only critique is that some of the prayers felt a little too long. And I would have liked more prayers that kids could say too. I received an advance copy after pre-ordering the book and agreeing to share my thoughts.
