100% plantaardige vezels. 70% katoen / 25% polyester (voering). Gevlochten mand van zeewierplantenvezel. De binnenvoering is met de hand geweven van gerecycled garen (80% katoen / 20% polyester). Gevlochten mand werd met de hand geweven volgens traditionele weeftechnieken uit Bangladesh, 'Tant' genoemd. De traditionele weefstructuur geeft het canvas een unieke, ambachtelijke look. Deze gevlochten mand maakt deel uit van de collectie 'Handloom recycled project', de vrucht van een samenwerking tussen het merk Kimood en de firma HandTouch, lid van ECOTA, een fairtradeorganisatie in Bangladesh. Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art! I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye. The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease. However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

I wasn't sure about purchasing the jewelry stand at first (I had my doubts), but those doubts quickly disappeared upon the arrival/unpackaging of the jewelry stand. I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right. OVERALL? In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.
