De BlackVue Elite 9 2CH is een geavanceerde dual-channel dashcam uit het topsegment van BlackVue. De Elite 9 is de opvolger van de populaire Elite 8 en op enkele punten verbeterd. De beeldkwaliteit is verbeterd naar 4K + 2K terwijl de compressie met H.265 efficiënter is geworden. Ook heeft hij snelle 5GHz Wifi voor naadloze bestandsoverdracht.

4K + 2K 30fps video's

De BlackVue Elite 9 2CH filmt met een haarscherpe Ultra HD 4K resolutie (3840×2160) aan de voorzijde en 2K QHD resolutie (2560×1440) aan de achterzijde. Dankzij de geavanceerde Sony STARVIS 2 beeldsensoren leveren beide camera’s zeer gedetailleerde en contrastrijke beelden, zowel overdag als ’s nachts. Nummerborden, verkeerssituaties en details rondom het voertuig blijven uitstekend zichtbaar, ook bij weinig licht.

HDR zorgt ervoor dat de helderheid en het contrast automatisch worden aangepast aan wisselende lichtomstandigheden, zodat de beeldkwaliteit onder alle omstandigheden optimaal blijft.

Slim en discreet ontwerp

Zoals we van BlackVue gewend zijn, heeft ook de Elite 9 2CH een cilindervormig en minimalistisch ontwerp. Hierdoor vallen zowel de voor- als achtercamera nauwelijks op in het interieur en wordt het zicht van de bestuurder niet belemmerd. De voorcamera is verticaal draaibaar zodat deze altijd perfect op de weg kan worden gericht.

Voor gebruik in meerdere voertuigen zijn losse montagehouders voor de voorcamera verkrijgbaar (zie accessoires).

5GHz Wifi & Blackvue App

De Blackvue Elite 9 2CH is uitgerust met snelle dual-band Wifi (2.4GHz en 5GHz). Dankzij de 5GHz verbinding kunnen videobeelden sneller en stabieler worden bekeken en gedownload via de gratis Blackvue App voor iOS en Android, zonder de Micro SD kaart uit de camera te halen.

BlackVue Cloud

In combinatie met de BlackVue CM100GLTE Cloud module kun je overal ter wereld verbinding maken met je dashcam. De module sluit je aan op de dashcam en hierin plaats je een SIM kaart met internetverbinding. BlackVue Cloud biedt onder andere de volgende functies:

- Video’s in de Cloud bekijken en opslaan
- Parkeermeldingen ontvangen
- Live GPS tracking
- Firmware updates op afstand
- Live communicatie en bellen

BlackVue Cloud kan beperkt gratis worden gebruikt. Voor intensiever gebruik of fleet oplossingen zijn betaalde abonnementen beschikbaar.

Ingebouwde GPS

Dankzij de ingebouwde GPS ontvanger worden snelheid en locatie automatisch aan de video’s toegevoegd. Met de Blackvue Viewer software kun je later exact terugzien waar en wanneer een opname is gemaakt. De snelheidsweergave kan desgewenst worden uitgeschakeld.

Geavanceerde en zuinige parkeermodus

De Blackvue Elite 9 2CH beschikt over een intelligente parkeerstand om je auto te beveiligen wanneer deze geparkeerd staat. Je kunt kiezen uit bewegingsdetectie of Time Lapse parkeermodus. In de bewegingsdetectie modus staan beide camera’s stand-by tot er beweging rondom het voertuig wordt waargenomen. In Time Lapse modus wordt continu een 1fps opname gemaakt die later als versnelde video wordt afgespeeld.

Bij een impact schakelt de dashcam automatisch over naar een normale opname zodat alle details van het incident worden vastgelegd. Daarnaast beschikt de Elite 9 2CH over een ‘Deep Park’ modus, waarbij de dashcam in een extreem energiezuinige stand blijft en alleen actief wordt bij een impact. Ideaal voor langdurig parkeren.

Inclusief meerdere voedingen

De BlackVue Elite 9 2CH wordt standaard geleverd met een 3-draads permanente voeding die nodig is voor gebruik van de parkeermodus. Daarnaast wordt ook een USB-C autolader met sigarettenplug meegeleverd voor eenvoudige aansluiting als je de camera alleen tijdens het rijden wil gebruiken. Optioneel kan gebruik worden gemaakt van de BlackVue BOC-300 OBD2 permanente voeding (zie accessoires) voor een eenvoudige Plug&Play installatie.

Automatische low voltage cut-off

Bij gebruik van een permanente voeding is de Elite 9 2CH beschermd tegen een lege auto-accu. Het ingebouwde low voltage cut-off systeem schakelt de dashcam automatisch uit wanneer het accuspanning onder een veilige, instelbare waarde komt.

H.265 HEVC videocompressie

De Elite 9 2CH maakt gebruik van efficiënte H.265 HEVC videocompressie. Hierdoor blijven de videobestanden van zeer hoge kwaliteit, terwijl ze aanzienlijk minder opslagruimte innemen. Dit maakt langere opnametijden mogelijk, zelfs bij 4K en 2K resoluties.

Ondersteuning tot 1TB

De Elite 9 2CH wordt standaard geleverd met een 64GB Micro SD kaart maar hij ondersteunt Micro SD kaarten tot 1TB. Met een 1TB kan tot wel 100 uur aan video's tegelijk worden opgeslagen op de SD kaart.

G-sensor

De ingebouwde G-sensor detecteert automatisch aanrijdingen en harde schokken. Bij een impact worden de bijbehorende beelden van beide camera’s direct beveiligd opgeslagen zodat ze niet kunnen worden overschreven of verwijderd.

Bij een impact wordt een video van één minuut opgeslagen, inclusief 10 seconden vóór het incident. Tijdens het parkeren en bij gebruik van BlackVue Cloud ontvang je bovendien een notificatie op je telefoon.

Ingebouwde microfoon

De Elite 9 2CH beschikt over een interne microfoon waarmee ook geluid in de auto wordt opgenomen. De microfoon kan indien gewenst eenvoudig worden uitgeschakeld via de app of software.

CPL-2 polarisatiefilter (optioneel)

Met het optionele BlackVue CPL-2 filter (zie accessoires) worden hinderlijke reflecties en schitteringen van het dashboard of de voorruit verminderd. Dit zorgt voor meer contrast en duidelijkere beelden, vooral bij fel zonlicht.

Tamper proof behuizing (optioneel)

Voor extra beveiliging is een tamper proof case verkrijgbaar. Deze voorkomt ongewenst verwijderen van de dashcam en beschermt de SD kaart tegen onbevoegde toegang. Ideaal voor zakelijk gebruik en leaseauto’s.

Bluetooth knop (optioneel)

Speciaal voor de Elite series is een optionele Bluetooth knop verkrijgbaar. Met deze knop kun je handmatig een opname veiligstellen zonder de dashcam aan te raken. Ideaal in stressvolle situaties of tijdens het rijden.

Datum- en tijdregistratie

Alle opnames worden automatisch voorzien van datum en tijd, zodat altijd duidelijk is wanneer een gebeurtenis heeft plaatsgevonden.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.

A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
