Description

This is it! After 10 years of experience making the best Super Heroes costumes in the market, Action Costumes, more than ever, and after years of research and construction tests made by the best costume designers it´s proud to present the Highest Achievement in a Movie Replica costume. This is the closest thing to owning an Original Costume!

This costume has been made using measurements of one of the original Superman “The Movie” costumes. We were lucky enough to get access to two of these beautiful screen worn suits. The construction of this costume has been made by the professional Designers and FX Department of the Action Costume team. These costumes are not fan made reproductions, they are made by a Professional Designer who works in the Movie Industry. Up to today we are the only ones that reach this perfection and with all these details together we can completely be sure that this costume is the most original reproductions ever seen!

The great Tunic has been made with the most accurate Heavy Weight 2-way teal blue fabric (Not Lycra) with the "S" emblem sewn in the chest and a back zipper. This Tunic brings the scarlet red trunks attached to it and has four belts Lycra loops. The shoulder seams have four golden press studs to attach the cape to the tunic plus an internal trick that make the cape hang in the correct place. These press studs and the back zipper have been made for this costume by our professional goldsmith. Besides, it has two seems on the back around the Zip. The teal blue fabric has the same texture and color as the original costume, nothing more accurate to the original costume has ever been seen. Just let the pictures speak for themselves!

The Leggings have been made with the same Heavy Weight teal blue fabric as the Tunic and come with the correct seam in the inner part of each leg, just like the original.

Please note this Superman costume is made from 2-way fabric, which is an older version of our design. Our newer models use 4-way Lycra for better flexibility and fit. Despite being our earlier version, this costume is offered at a slightly lower price while maintaining its exceptional quality.

The chest’s Emblem has been made with the same measurements & shapes as the original suit. Made by hand with a little help of a sewing machine. This is not a computer generated logo, it was made in the same way as the original! Each part of the 2-way fabrics have been cut by hand and sewn with the yellow and red to get this perfect shape, color and texture. The color of the fabrics are the same as the spandex trunks & the yellow golden color is the same one as the original. This is definitely the most accurate reproduction of the original Emblem ever seen.

Red gabardine cape which ties under the arms in the back with a yellow emblem using the original measurements and shape as well. This yellow fabric has the correct golden color. The back emblem has been made by an embroidery system, sewing the black thread to the yellow fabric. This cape attaches to the body with two bandoliers strips that has the perfect fit and has four golden press studs that let the cape stay at the correct place of the tunic. After we seen the last of the two original costumes we were lucky enough to see inside the shoulders of the cape and realized which one is the inner material they used to make the flaps and we applied it into our capes to get them to look the perfect shape. The cape has the original measurements as the screen used in Superman “The Movie” and has an incredible flow! The finish of this cape had been made with thread sewn by hand.

This Incredible Replica Brings the most accurate Belt seen yet, the buckle has been made using an Original Movie Worn Belt. The belt itself has been made with the correct Glossy Vinyl (shiny gold), like the original and it has the correct thickness, only produced for this edition. This will definitely be the final belt for your Superman Costume.

This costume does not include the boots shown in the pic aside but we perfectly make Superman Deluxe Boots 70’s Style by request in specific sizes to assure an excellent fitness! The Boots for this Character will be more accurate than the ones you can see in the pictures. These pictures of the Boots are just for an illustrative purpose.

Measurements

 We recommend to use this costume on a mannequin or display.

This suit is a standard adult medium size, which will perfectly fit a mannequin between 5' 7" to 6' 2" tall. Once the auction is over and payment is received, we will instantly send you the costume!!
