Its dreadnought body makes for a powerful sound projection. This Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides acoustic is garmented with hand inlaid abalone binding on the top and rosette. Abalone adorns this guitar upon its top perimeter, bridge pins, hexagon fingerboard inlays, headplate logo, and rosette with multi-ply purfling. The mahogany neck is satin finished and is paired with a bound ebony fingerboard. The Block Martin logo distinguishes this guitar as being a 40 series instrument. A Style 45 backstrip and Antique white binding on the heelcap and endpiece gives this Martin striking visual highlights.
The Martin D 41 guitar is a member of the Standard series. All Standard series instruments feature a High Performance Taper neck profile and aging toner tops.
