Carefully chosen for its exceptionally lightweight nature, the body of this StingRay is complemented with refined weight relief contours and lightweight hardware throughout. This combination ensures the perfect balance and comfort for extended play sessions.
The Music Man StingRay Special 4 sports a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard, meticulously finished with gunstock oil and a hand-rubbed wax blend that makes for incredibly smooth navigation. Stability and access to all 22 stainless steel frets are guaranteed by the sculpted 5-bolt neck joint.
Known for its robust, super-punchy low end, the StingRay Special gets its power from the hefty Music Man Neodymium Humbucker located at the bridge. Complementing this is the 18-volt active preamp and 3-band EQ of the StingRay, allowing you to precisely tweak and turbocharge your sound.
